Issue 10 and Volume 100.

Transient counter

The EMDEX transient counter is a small battery-powered meter that records the occurrence of magnetic field transient events. The meter measures three orthogonal axes of magnetic field, combines them for total field strength and counts transient events exceeding two (low/high) factory-adjustable threshold values. EMDEX has two parts: the meter (3.875 inches by 7.75 inches by 1.5 inches) and the sensor box (4 inches by 4 inches). The counter also measures magnetic fields within the frequency range of 2 kH¥to 250
