National Power Supply, which specialises in the manufacturing, design and development of power supply systems, has announced its participation in the independent-power-producer (IPP) bidding for natural gas-fired power plants.

The Saggas LNG import terminal at the Spanish port of Sagunto has been flaring natural gas since 16 April to cope with the effects of low regasification throughput, a spokeswoman for the plant said on 18 April.
