Dominion Virginia Power (NYSE: D) will install more than 2,000 solar panels on the rooftop of Canon Virginia Inc.’s Industrial Resource Technologies facility in Virginia. The project is expected to cost $2 million.

When operational, the panels are expected to generate more than 500 kW of electricity, and will supply the output to Dominion Virginia Power. The project is being deemed the largest rooftop solar system in the Commonwealth.
