MetalTek acquires SMCI

MetalTek International, a manufacturer and integrator of quality high‐alloy components with operations in Wisconsin, Missouri, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee and the UK, has announced the acquisition of
Florida‐based Specialty Maintenance and Construction Inc., better known as SMCI. SMCI is a provider of close tolerance fabricating and machining services.

Based in Lakeland, FL, SMCI has been a close‐tolerance metal fabrication and machining firm serving
high‐end markets since 1977. MetalTek International is a privately held metals technology company
headquartered in Waukesha, Wisc. The company employs more than 1,400 people in 10 facilities in the U.S., England and Scotland.
