LM Wind Power announced that it is laying off 230 employees at its Little Rock, Ark. manufacturing plant, according to North American Windpower. The wind turbine blade manufacturer said the U.S. government’s failure to extend the wind production tax credit (PTC) was the reason behind the layoffs.
The company said it expects to continue operations at its Port site and expand the Little Rock facility, the article said.
