SunPeak Power has completed construction on a 23 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in Niland, Calif., according to The Desert Sun.
The Imperial Irrigation District will buy energy from the PV plant, which is next to the Niland natural gas power plant. The project was financed with a $77.4 million loan from the North American Development Bank.
