NERC names new general counsel

NERC President and Chief Executive Officer Gerry Cauley has announced that Charles A. Berardesco will join NERC as the new general counsel, effective July 2.

Prior to joining NERC, Berardesco served as Constellation Energy’s senior vice president, general counsel, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer, as well as chief legal adviser to Constellation’s Board of Directors. Berardesco joined Constellation in January 2003 and served in a number of different roles at the company.
