Combined heat and power company plans new facility in Florida

Combined heat and power (CHP) manufacturer 2G Cenergy Power Systems Technologies Inc. is planning to open a facility in Florida where it will produce the company’s advanced modular CHP conversion systems for North and South America.

The company said it purchased a 60,000 square-foot facility in the St. Augustine Interstate Commercial Park. The facility is expected to bring 125 new jobs to the area. Most of the projects 2G has built are located in several states, including Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Washington, Oregon and the Carolinas.

The company’s systems are designed and manufactured “connection ready,” which allows for fast and cost-effective installation. They range in size from 200 kW/h to 3 MW/h.
