
Thielsch Engineering Inc. was awarded a three-year service agreement with Associated Electric Co-op Inc. for $2.7 million.
The contract includes the condition assessment of the boiler and high-energy piping components at the 1,062 MW Choteau natural gas-fired plant in Oklahoma, the 1,153 MW Thomas Hill coal-fired power plant, and the 1,200 MW New Madrid coal-fired power plant, both in Missouri. The contract also includes the integration of Thielsch’s 4-Syte System Strategy Program that will house critical data of the components and allow AECI’s personnel immediate access to manage inspections, repairs and recommendations, as well as the construction, design and operational data.
