Renewable Energy Systems Canada Inc. (RES Canada) was awarded a balance of plant contract for the 150 MW Halkirk Wind Project in Alberta, Canada.

RES Canada was chosen by the project's developer and owner, Capital Power LP, a subsidiary of Edmonton based Capital Power Corp.

The project will use 83 V90 1.8 Vestas turbines.
