PIC Group Inc. has signed an operations and maintenance agreement with Oneida Energy for a 5 MW biomass gasification project in Wisconsin.

The waste-to-energy power plant will convert municipal solid waste into electricity using a pyrolysis gasification process. When the project is completed, it will sell the electricity to Wisconsin Public Service. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2012.

PIC has signed an exclusive seven year agreement with Oneida Energy to provide O&M services for Oneida Energy’s future biomass gasification projects that will use the same pyrolysis technology.
