Natural gas-fired plant in Texas sold

Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy LLC acquired, through one of its subsidiaries, a 77 MW natural gas-fired peaking facility located in Wichita County, Texas from Signal Hill Power LLC. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Wichita Falls plant uses GE (NYSE: GE) gas combustion turbines with associated heat recovery steam generators and an ABB steam generator. The facility supplies power into the ERCOT West market.
