URS Corp. (NYSE: URS) was awarded a contract to engineer and furnish their trademarked SBS Injection technology for FirstEnergy’s (NYSE: FE) Pleasants Power Station in West Virginia.

The technology will be installed on two, 650 MW coal-fired boilers at the plant and will treat SO_x emissions from the plant's flue gas. It is expected to begin commercial operation in the fall of 2012.
