Areva said it has named Tom Franch senior vice president of the Reactors and Services Business Group (R&S BG) for Areva Inc., and Gary Mignogna as senior vice president of the Engineering and Projects (E&P) Organization in North America. Both will serve on the U.S. executive leadership team.

Franch, previously the head of Areva North America E&P, will now be responsible for the operations and activities of the R&S BG. He will oversee the Installed Base, New Builds, Equipment, Products and Technology and the Nuclear Measurement Business Units.

In his new position with E&P, Mignogna will lead E&P in project management and operations, design engineering, construction and commissioning services and associated strategy, processes and methods for the organization’s projects.
