Wolverine Fire Protection picked for AP1000 units

Wolverine Fire Protection Co. was chosen by Shaw Power to supply fire suppression design for AP1000 units at Georgia Power’s Plant Vogtle and Scana’s V.C. Summer nuclear power plants.

Wolverine Fire Protection Co., located at booth #1835, designs, fabricates, installs and repairs all types of fire protection and detection systems.

Service technicians available for wind maintenance

Flanders now supplies OSHA-trained field service technicians in the wind generation industry.

The company’s technicians repair all motors, induction generators, power electronics, switchgear and other wind energy components. Flanders also re-manufactures utility-grade turbines.

Doosan debuts Tier 4 mobile generator

Doosan Portable Power will introduce its new mobile generator line at POWER-GEN International 2011 in booth #4420.

A new portfolio of generators now meets all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Tier 4 Interim emission standards: The G190 and G325, which will both be on display at POWER-GEN International and have been redesigned with a new control panel and improved fuel capacity.

Valve company to exhibit at POWER-GEN International

Vortex Valves North America will be exhibiting at POWER-GEN International 2011 in booth 7847.

Vortex offers a Titan Series Diverter for coal-fired power plants, which are designed with wear compensating seals and access panels. The company also offers the Titan Series Abrasion Resistant Slide Gate, made with inline maintenance capabilities and removable seals.
