Wind energy project gets provincial OK in Quebec

The provincial government of Quebec approved the construction and operation of a C$350 million ($331.3 million), 150 MW Massif du Sud wind project in Canada.

REpower will supply 75 wind turbines rated at 2 MW each for the project to be built by EDF EN Canada. LM Wind Power will supply the blades, Marmen will produce the towers and SEG Woodward will assemble the electrical converters.
