U.S. Geothermal Inc. (TSX: GTH) made several management and director changes.

Dennis Gilles was appointed to the company’s board of directors. Gilles recently spent 23 years with Calpine Corp. at the Geysers geothermal field and is now consulting for the energy sector globally. Gilles is a registered professional engineer in California.

Doug Glaspey was promoted to president of U.S. Geothermal Inc. and will remain as chief operating officer. Johathan Zurkoff was named treasurer and executive vice president. Daniel Kunz will continue as chief executive officer.

All of the changes are effective mid-September.
