Wood Group to perform maintenance work in Argentina

Wood Group GTS signed a six-year, $15 million contract with PlusPetrol Energy S.A to provide maintenance services for two General Electric (NYSE: GE) Frame 9E DLN-1 gas turbines at the 370 MW Central Termica San Miguel de Tucuman combined-cycle power plant in Argentina.

Wood Group will supply combustion and hot gas path capital parts, outage consumables, parts for control systems and the repair of combustion and hot gas path capital parts. The contract also includes monitoring and diagnostics and field services during scheduled and unscheduled outages.

The Central Termica San Miguel de Tucuman power plant supplies electricity to Argentina’s 500kV grid system.
