The Shaw Group Inc. (NYSE: SHAW) was awarded a contract to provide life-cycle management services for Indiana Michigan Power Co.’s 2,155 MW Cook Nuclear Plant in Michigan.

Shaw will provide engineering, procurement and construction services on approved projects designed to extend the life cycle of major components to ensure continuous operation of the plant for 20 more years.

The contract follows a detailed feasibility study conducted by Shaw earlier this year for potential life cycle management upgrades and modifications to the plant.
