Ram Power said the Northern California Power Agency (NCPA) has approved an amended power purchase agreement for the output from a planned 26 MW geothermal power plant in California, according to the Energy Business Review.
The new PPA adjusts the project’s expected capacity to 26 MW, revises the purchase price per megawatt and extends the term of the agreement from 20 to 25 years.
The agreement is expected to be signed in April 2011 for Western GeoPower’s planned power plant at the Geysers geothermal field. The company expects the project to be complete by 2013.
