Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas Inc. received an order from Virginia Electric and Power Co. to supply three M501GAC gas turbines and one steam turbine to be installed at the company's 1,300 MW Warren County power plant near Front Royal, Virginia.  

Current plans call for the plant to be operational in late 2014 or early 2015. Under a separate long-term service agreement, Mitsubishi will provide turbine maintenance, repair and outage services as well as replacement parts supply for the gas turbine combined cycle power blocks.

To date, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has received orders for over 65 units of M501G worldwide, including more than 30 units in the North America.
