
16 August 2010-- Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., released the Clean Energy Technology Leadership Act of 2010, also known as S. 3738. The legislation would provide or modify tax credits for solar energy, advanced energy storage systems, domestic energy production from alternative energy technologies, and qualified energy research and development related to storage, renewables, transmission and carbon capture and sequestration.
The bill would also extend the authorization for new renewable energy bond issuance by $3.5 billion.
There is no word on when the Senate would vote on the act.
