22 December 2009-- Amonix Inc., a concentrating solar power developer, completed the acquisition of Sunworks Solar LLC, a solar manufacturing plant developer. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Meanwhile, Sunworks co-founder Brian Robertson becomes CEO. Robertson previously co-founded and was president of SunEdison and succeeds Vahan Garboushian as CEO of Amonix. Garboushian will stay on with the company as chief technology officer and chairman.

In other personnel moves, Sunworks co-founder Guy Blanchard joins as senior vice president of sales and corporate development; and Matthew Meares, Sunworks managing director, joins as director of project finance.
