30 November 2009-- Woodward Governor Co. signed a contract with REpower Systems AG to supply 954 MW in wind turbines for five projects that are part of the Hydro-Quebec Distribution wind power project in Quebec.

The agreement calls for 477 converters to be delivered between 2011 and 2015. The converters control the voltage and power from wind turbine generators so voltage and frequency are constant.
