9 November 2009-- Enbridge Inc. said it would team up with Renewable Energy Systems Canada Inc. to develop its fifth wind farm, a 99 MW, C$285 million (US $266 million) project in Ontario, Canada.

Under a fixed-price agreement, RES Canada, a unit of RES Americas, will build the 43-turbine wind farm scheduled for completion in December 2010. The Ontario Power Authority will buy the power under a 20-year power purchase agreement.

Enbridge, an oil pipeline operator, will own a majority of the Talbot wind farm. Enbridge also owns four wind farms in Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan and a solar project. When completed, Talbot will bring the company's total renewable energy capacity to 380 MW.
