Johnson Matthey to supply oxidation catalyst for gas turbines

08/04/2009

04 August 2009-- Johnson Matthey will supply oxidation catalysts to Vogt Power International Inc, a unit of Babcock Power, to control emissions from two combustion gas turbines being installed at NV Energy's 484 MW Harry Allen Generating Station near Las Vegas.

Vogt will build and deliver the duct-fired, three-pressure-level, natural circulation HRSG's that will be installed behind the GE PG7241 (FA) Frame gas turbines to reduce CO emissions.

The plant is scheduled to begin operations in 2011.
