07 July 2009-- The Shaw Group Inc. received $100 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to perform work on U.S. Navy installations in several states.

The work includes the improvement, design and construction of photovoltaic systems in the District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Mississippi and Texas.

The systems may include rooftop-, carport- and ground-mounted systems, as well as solar ventilation preheat and other solar energy systems.
