25 February 2008 -- Babcock & Wilcox Generation Group Inc. said it has been awarded a $150 million contract to design and supply four wet flue gas desulfurization units to three Maryland coal-fired power plants. The coal plants are owned and operated by Mirant Mid Atlantic LLC. The plants are the Morgantown Generating Station, the Chalk Point Generating Station and the Dickerson Generating Station. Shipment is slated to begin in the spring.
