19 March 2007 -- Wärtsilä Corporation will market Wärtsilä PowerCubes to industrial customers, utilities and independent power producers, providing small power plants based on one to three generating sets.
The plants are based on the Wärtsilä 32 or Wärtsilä 20 engines and the Wärtsilä 34SG engine, each providing up to 9 MWe. The company said the plant can be monitored and operated remotely or at freely placed working stations.
