31 August 2006 -- Fluor Corp.confirmed today that earlier this week the company submitted an offer to British Nuclear Fuels plc (BNFL) to acquire British Nuclear Group Limited (BNG) in its entirety.
Fluor's announcement did not disclose the price offered for the acquisition, but Reuters reported that Fluor has bid up to 400 million pounds ($760 million) for the state-owned nuclear energy company.
