Solar Integrated wins additional European orders

13 October 2005 - AIM-listed company Solar Integrated Technologies, providers of building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) roofing systems, said today that it had won six additional orders from European customers, including the company's first sale in Spain.

With these latest orders, the company has now won 13 European orders since July 2005, including 11 in Germany, one in France and one in Spain. In aggregate, the 13 orders represent 837 kW of BIPV roofing systems.

"I am pleased to report that we are enjoying continued success in our initial efforts to penetrate the important European market. Within only four months of receiving our International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) certification, we have seen rapid adoption of our unique BIPV products among a diverse range of industrial customers," commented Jon W. Slangerup, Chief Executive Officer of Solar Integrated. "With our distribution channels quickly generating results, particularly from strategic partners Sarnafil International AG and Dachland GmbH, we are very encouraged with the significant market demand we are seeing for our products."
