
The project will consist of a 750 MW, single-machine, supercritical coal-fired power station built on a coal field west of Brisbane, Australia. When it enters commercial operation, Kogan Creek will be the largest single generating unit on the Australian national electricity market. The total capital cost of the mine, power station and associated infrastructure is estimated to be US$857 million.
7 September 2004 - Public Service of New Mexico (PNM) has selected Invensys Process Systems to implement a state-of-the-art, Foxboro-brand I/A Series automation system for Unit 4 plus advanced SimSci-Esscor operator training simulators in multiple units throughout the publicly owned utility's large San Juan Generating Station.
