Kelly Engineering Resources announces scholarship program

March 14, 2003 -- Kelly Engineering Resources, a business unit of staffing provider Kelly Services Inc., has created a Future Engineers Scholarship program to recognize exceptional engineering students throughout the nation.

Joining Kelly in sponsoring the program are Power Engineering magazine, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the IEEE Communications Society, the American Nuclear Society, the American Association of Engineering Societies, the Engineering Society of Detroit, and Medical Device & Diagnostic Industry magazine.

Junior-level college engineering students who meet specific criteria are invited to compete for a $5,000 scholarship by submitting essays on contemporary engineering topics. Scholarship candidates will be evaluated on their demonstrated commitment to a career in engineering, outstanding academic performance, and depth of knowledge about the issue or challenge addressed.

Submission materials, guidelines and essay options are available at http://www.kellyengineering.com. Kelly Engineering Resources must receive applications for the 2004 Future Engineers Scholarship by May 30, 2003.
