Aggreko LLC and BELFOR USA renew partnership to provide complete property recovery services


HOUSTON, March 3, 2003 -- Aggreko LLC and BELFOR USA have renewed a multi-year partnership agreement that provides complete property recovery services to North American companies damaged by fire, water, mold and other disasters.

Aggreko LLC is the U.S. division of the U.K.-based Aggreko plc (AGK.L). The company provides rental power, temperature control and compressed air systems and related services to companies around the world. BELFOR USA is part of the world's largest disaster restoration company and is the premier provider of property recovery services in North America.

Under the agreement, Aggreko's temporary power, dehumidification, temperature control and electrical distribution equipment will be used in conjunction with BELFOR's specialized emergency response capabilities and disaster recovery services to provide a single, cost-effective, time-sensitive solution to companies of all sizes.

The companies' major joint past projects include restoration work resulting from Hurricane Georges in Biloxi, Miss., and Puerto Rico; Tropical Storm Allison in Houston, Texas; water damage to the FARGODOME in Fargo, N.D; Tropical Storm/Hurricane Lili; recovery work in New York City at Ground Zero; and Super Typhoon Pongsana.

Aggreko and BELFOR will increase joint marketing, sales and information-sharing activities. BELFOR will continue to have access to Aggreko equipment located in more than 70 North American locations.

Aggreko's fleet, which consists of more than 6,000 major pieces of equipment, includes an extensive line of power generators; electrical distribution equipment; a state-of-the-art line of chillers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, heaters and other temperature control equipment; oil-free air compressors; and dryers. In July 2002, Aggreko announced the availability of its new fleet of Underwriters Laboratories-listed portable electrical distribution equipment.
