Nov 16, 2000, (La Tribune /FT World Media Abstracts via COMTEX) — Alstom SA, the French manufacturer of energy and transport infrastructure, has won an order worth 200 million euros for the delivery of three gas-turbines in Mexico.
The turbines will be used be used at the site of a nuclear power station which is being converted to combined-cycle.
The contract has already been entered in the half-year accounts (to September 2000). The company has also been awarded an order worth 340 million euros for the equipping of a combined-cycle power station in Malaysia.
